The site of our wedding ceremony was only a few minutes from this town, so we had our rehearsal dinner at one of the town's only restaurants, Webb's Country Kitchen. This turned out to be one of the best decisions of our wedding planning process! Delicious! Unfortunately, they were closed today so we ended up not being able to grab lunch there. But that was okay, I was just happy to be there.
The Gap is perhaps best known for its hiking. However today, I decided to wear stilettos, which are not optimal hiking shoes. So we went to a close by site, the Iron Furnace. In the few times we had been to the Gap before, we had just skipped on by this trail for the "higher up trails", because we had been told it wasn't any big deal. Little did I know, this beautiful site was located only a few feet from the main road!
***Warning, you are now going to be bombarded with a zillion pics! Just be glad I spared you all 121!***
This is the Iron Furnace, which is conviently located next to a beautiful stream, which actually splits and encircles the Iron Furnace. It really is beautiful. I hope to eventually take portraits of someone here, or maybe a couple, either way I love it!
And whats the best thing about running water? --The perfect opportunity to play with and learn more about my shutter speed!
Seriously, if you are ever near this town, or maybe don't live too far away, take the time to stop! You won't regret it! It's charming!
I'm learning from this challenge that I can't ever pick just one photo...and I've probably taken 365 photos in the past 4 days! :)
Absolutely beautiful pictures! I'm really enjoying following your blog!
